It’s the weekend and you have a hot date with that strapping young lad or lady from psych class and you’re hoping leave them love-struck. Pizza on Route 1 is not going to cut it. Instead, plan an exciting date. “It’s worth a little effort for something she will remember,” said freshman Sam Gaffigan.
1. FOR THE NATURE LOVER
Take your guy or gal to the Museum of Natural History’s Butterfly Pavilion and be exposed to live butterflies fluttering freely amongst exotic plants. Entry to the Butterfly Pavilion is free with a $6 museum ticket.
2. FOR THE FOODIE
Enjoy some foreign foods at Neyla Mediterranean Grill in Georgetown.
Entrees range in price from $15-25 and the restaurant’s atmosphere is especially lively on Saturday nights when belly dancers perform.
3. FOR THE DRAMATIC
Catch a performance of RENT at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center on campus.
As CSPAC’s Mariel Berlin-Fischler puts it, “There is nothing more romantic than watching people fall in love on stage!”
